Dear Science Fair Teacher / Coordinator:

Welcome to the Santa Cruz Science Fair, and remember to mark your calendars! The Santa Cruz Science Fair is March 13, 2010 and the Awards Ceremony is March 22, 2010! If your school would like to participate, please contact our office.

Above you will find the Science Fair Guide and the forms (School Roster Form, Certificate of Compliance, Informed Consent Form, and Student Permission Forms) required for participation in the Santa Cruz County Science Fair. Science Fair Guides and forms may be downloaded and copied. Please pass this information on to interested students, parents, and teachers.

Use the School Roster Form to enter the official names of the students that will represent your school. Remember, students must still complete registration to officially enter the Santa Cruz Science Fair. Student registration closes on February 16th, 2010.

Use the Certificate of Compliance for special projects only. Refer to the Science Fair Guide, page 9, for a description of special projects. Project advisors or teachers must sign the certificate to certify that the experimental procedure used in special projects complies with regulations.

Each student must submit a permission form with registration materials before registration closes. If you need additional copies of the Permission Form or Certificate of Compliance, feel free to make copies or call us. Submit School Rosters, Permission Forms, and Certificates of Compliance by 5:00PM on February 16th, 2010. Please contact us if you need assistance.
